Hato Jey was born on January 13, 1994 as Ninoshka M. Medina in a small island somewhere in this world. From the age of 3 she demonstrated interest in Hip-Hop, listening to rappers like Eminem, N.W.A, Tupac Shakur and the nu-metal group, Linkin Park, together with local scene rappers that appeared on Local T.V. At the age of 6, her parents gave her for christmas a Casio Keyboard, after she went to play her cousin’s digital keyboard almost every day at her aunt’s house. Her first songs were written when she was 11 years old. The struggle of writting the first songs was about the emotions she felt at the time about love, friendship and hate with this life. At the age of 15, she was already in the rock scene for 4 years, she decided to get an electric guitar and started practicing to form a rock group with a friend from High School. She tried to make things work, but she knew the guitar was not her thing neither being a Rockstar, but yes a Rapstar. She knew from the age of 3 that Hip-Hop was in her veins, at that age in private schools were crazy about The Backstreet Boys and about *NSYNC, she knew from there that she was different and got rejected for being like that by other girls. In 2010 at the age of 16, she knew a guy named Tiitonga who brought her again the interest on FL Studio, program that she knew since 2007. She started to play with FL with him and that woke up her interest on making music by herself. But it was not until September 2011 when she met Héctor “Full” Fournier at her first year in College where she was studying Graphic Design with Digital Photography. Fournier was a well known Producer in the Reggaeton scene, he gave her the full Producer Edition of FL Studio and gave her the basics to start making music. He was the first to believe in her about pursuing her dreams in the Music Business. After taking an Audio Film Production course at that college, she transferred a year later to another college where she went to take Audio Engineer program. In the first semester she was in love with the Legal side of Music Business more than anything. There she developed her knowledge and made internships to make her career solid before doing something wrong in the game. After years of training, mistakes, knowledge, reading books, listening to the pros, working harder every day, constructing and destroying singles, EP’s and Albums she will be in the scene on May 17, 2016. Although, this will be the beginning for her, mistakes, knowledges, constructing and destroying music, she will be ready to listen and working once again after the reaction of the public world. Wait for more kind of different of music and most of all, underground music with the knowledge of a Pop Industry. TOPUS URANION EP will be out when you don’t expect it. (Like nothing you have heard before from a female, just from Eminem.)
